Simon and Schuster and Amazon now show the artwork for Clue Book #7, The Pirate Ghost, which has an April 3, 2018, release date and Adventures #16, Stolen Identity, which has a release date for February 20, 2018.

Thanks to Bigfootman for the heads up on these.

I was actually surprised to find out that there was a Adventures #16 coming. I thought for sure that "A Con Artist in Paris" would be the last one, as the Adventures series isn't that popular from what I've been hearing. (Although I do like #12)

Thanks for the update. Do you really think the Adventures series will be cancelled soon? It still feels like it's barely gotten started.

I remember back in 2009 when it seemed like "The Killer Connection" would be the last book in the Undercover Brothers series. The series actually lasted until 2012, two years after it's supposed "kill date". Anything is possible.

However, we've gone from 3 books in 2016 to 2 books in 2017. A similar thing happened to the UBs and the Casefiles before their cancellation. It's not a major difference mind you, but its still a change. Considering how short "Attack of the Bayport Beast" was, the change doesn't seem to have anything to do with the time needed to write the books.

Here's the plot write-up for Stolen Identity

Quote from: http://www.simonandschuster.com/series/Hardy-Boys-Adventures
A criminal that seems to be straight out of a Sherlock Holmes novel is out to get brother detectives Frank and Joe in the sixteenth book in the thrilling Hardy Boys Adventures series.

An original Sherlock Holmes manuscript was stolen from the Bayport Museum and now pages keep showing up in Frank and Joe's things: their lockers, menus, even the backseat of their car. It's clear someone is out to frame them. But who could it be?

The boys try their usual means of deduction, but everything leads to a dead end. They just keep finding unsuspecting people who were paid to hide the pages by a mysterious third party. Frank recognizes this tactic—it's exactly what Moriarty would do to throw off Sherlock Holmes. So the brothers decide to use one of Sherlock's signature ideas: The Baker Street Irregulars. Though instead of street kids, Frank and Joe use a group of skateboarding tweens to keep their eyes and ears open around town.

It's a battle of wits as the brother...

S&S's page also lists this book with a (for the Adventures series) whopping 208 pages.  Con Artist In Paris is being listed with 160 pages.

Okay- I hadn't noticed the production schedule change, but that's a good point. I guess we'll see what happens.
