I picked up the Harold Hill edition of "The Shore Road Mystery" at a Salvation Army in New Zealand.  I compared it to the American OT version and see that instead of hiding in their car's "locker" and eating "crackers", they hide in the boot and eat biscuits.

In the UK & former British Empire/Commonwealth, Harold Hill was the only publisher of "The House Om The Cliff" and "The Hidden Harbour Mystery".  Of course the artwork they commissioned was pretty Picasso-esque I find.

I was given a $25 gift card for Indigo, so I ordered #139 The Search for the Snow Leopard, #162 The End of the Trail, and #190 Motocross Madness.  Interesting that they still have new copies kicking around nearly two decades later.  The copy of #139 has newest style a spine (the style from the newest digests), with the original cover art.  It also has an advertisement for Nancy Drew: Girl Detective, as well as ND Notebooks.  The book listing page also only has 109-110 and 139-189, so I'm guessing 111-138 were out of print?

Yeah those books went out of print in the late-90's to early-2000's.  In 2002 S&S reprinted a number of Mystery Stories with the blue file folder spine design, even though originally they didn't have them.  #141 was another, and I have a few others.  And some were in the Minstrel size while others got the Aladdin sized reprint.
