It started out good but then......it lost me! Whoever ghostwrote this had Frank and Joe back to their bickering ways! Not nice bickering and teasing but mean-spirited, imo. Plus the way they were able to escape being trapped towards the end was a bit......unbelieving!!! I thought it was really dumb and very.....oh what's the word I want to use.......stereotypicle(sp?)!
Haven't read it yet but I'm thinking I don't want to now.
I think it started out well...but then, I found it like a flashback to a bad movie :-\
I agree, the first part looked good: searching for ancient treasure on an expadtion, but then it lost me. The ending was very poor.

Haha, thanks! But it's true ;D
So what happens at the end? or do I have to read the book to find out?
I was kind of shocked who the bad guys were, it was just kind of random. But yeah, you have to read it.

Why?
The book is terrible written and the plot is extremely thin and 1-dimensional.
Oh.
It isn't that bad, but it is definetly not one of the better ones
A monkey solves the case for the Hardys boys. It's bad.

Actually, I can't see that.
Same, here.
Strangely enough, one of my friends on Facebook has a picture of Kermit the frog with a gun & shades.
Tell her that Barney is in the Pieces of Flair Gallery, if she knows what that is.

We do have this (http://www.hardyboyscasefiles.com/forums/index.php?topic=1085.0;topicseen) thread.
Strange page. ???
But it makes sense. ;D
I give "The Mummy's Curse" a 26%.
The Mummy's Curse was pretty good, but I would have liked to see more of Joe actually going for Samantha, rather than starting to make a move and the n deciding to wimp out at the last second. As I mentioned in another thread, one of the earmarks of earlier series was (1. better plot development, and) Joe's ability to get any girl to go gaga for him just by acting himself and cracking some kind of (usually stupid) joke. That was one of my favorite things about the old Joe. Now, all he does is try to be cool all of the time, complain about his inability to beat Frank in getting girls to like him, and not realize that he gets most of the important girl anyways (superstar Madison Vee, Sam Chilton, (slightly) Kijani, and movie star Emily Slater (temporarily)). I MISS THE OLD JOE!!!!!
