Game Summary:
In The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft, the vault of the Spencer Mansion is robbed, and the Bayport Police call on the Hardy Boys to help tie up some loose ends, but they soon find themselves in the middle of a major criminal investigation that takes them on an adventure all over Bayport, and even into New York City. But the pieces don?t add up, and Frank and Joe find themselves embroiled in a drama of sinister proportions.
This Windows? based game is scheduled to be available in the United States on September 23, 2008, for a retail price of just $19.99.
The game is also scheduled to be released in Canada the same week.
No word of a Canadian Release date yet, Skywarp?
Working on that...
They look like they where in Kakapu Cave. Since KC was in the UB contunity these will probally be too. ;D Odd though that the UBs describe Joes hair as short but in the GNs and Games its long. :-\ I like long better though. Also it looks like it will be in 3rd person. ;D
Remember, when the game was first announced it was said to be based on The Tower Treasure, so I'm wondering if its maybe set in the 1970's or 1980's, especially considering that in the pictures that I've seen from the game there have been a lot of cars with fins and 1950's style decorations.
But the Hardy's bikes are very modern.
is it just me or does Frank look black?
Kind of, he is just tan in a dark place.
Are those screen shots just blurred a little, or will they actually look like that?
Probaly blured since they are smaller than usual.
Yeah, probably.
Remember you can click on the small thumbnails to view larger versions. And I also brightened up the bottom image which you can see here:

Are we even sure that those are suppose to be Frank and Joe? Could they maybe be Joe and Jamaal? Or Joe and (what's the agent from ATAC that is also bringing their infogames)?
Viajja; but I'm pretty sure its Frank. Also look in the upper right hand corner is that some cropped status bar?
I can not rember how to spell that name.

That's no big deal, I was just correcting you. :)

I think it is only a clock on the wall.
Oh, and the game is now scheduled to be released in Canada the same week as the United States (sometime the week of September 22). No word on UK or European release dates yet.
A little Bright for a clock. Looking at it agin it may be an axe a knight is holding.
its a status bar, its in every single screenshot, so unless a knight is following them around ...

Hmmm, I didn't see that in every picture. Interesting.
Oh, one more thing. Dreamcatcher is suppose to have a solution guide available for sale exclusively on their own web site for $9.99.
Sharp eye Nzone! I think the Knight is following them, JK. ;)
Seeing these shots kinda makes me want to play it a little less...

Do you have a link for Canadians to order?
There still doesn't seem to be an official European release date. Play.com in the UK have it listed for a 12th of September release date, today, but I've not heard word from them if they've dispatched my copy. Zavvi.co.uk (formerly Virgin Megastores) has it for release today too. Amazon.co.uk, Sendit.com and Asda have a 26th September release date.
I don't really like how they look. Frank's hair isn't dark enough and they both look a bit strange.
I'm glad it's in third person!
I didn't notice the "clock"at first either, but now that you mention it it is in every picture.
I found two more screenshots of the boys, which I have put on the HB Wiki. Click on the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page to see them.

Also, it seems the release date has been pushed back to October 3rd.
Could some levels be time-oriented? You know, you have X number of minutes in which to complete the assignment?
Could be but probaly not. Can't wait to play this game, but I ope Joe's face is different than in Kaka Pu Cave. In that game he reminded me of this kid in school and it drove me nuts!
I liked the way they looked better in Blue Moon Canyon.
Totaly!!
I've seen a trailer! :)
Waiting on word for permission to post!
Wow! I hope to see it soon!
BTW, The Hidden Theft is currently #26 in bestselling PC games, #3 in PC adventure games, and #207 in video games overall. It's being outsold by the newest Nancy Drew game. I wonder where it would be if available in Canada.

I guess that you still haven't been able to find out any Canadian Information either, SDL?
No I haven't.
