I'm just starting this book, and I just realized that the dentist that is featured in Chapter 1 is an author stand-in. The dentist's name is Dr. Vincent Burelli, And when you take a look at who wrote the book.
I remember being confused about the distinction between "black magic" and "white magic" when I read this book when I was younger.
I was just reading page 32 and we get some Hardy family history. Apparently the Hardy Family line was not in the US at the time of the Salem Witch Trials.
