There's a topic for Nancy Drew games, so it only seemed right we have one for the Hardys.
I'd like to see ''The House on the Cliff'' and ''What Happened at Midnight'' made into a game. ''The Deadliest Dare'' would also be good.
Good idea.
I'd have to think about it. It's one thing to like a book, but it's another to make it into a good game in some cases.
Maybe Brother Against Brother.
That would be cool, but I don't think it would really work. Not with the current style of the series.
I think one Hardy Boys books that would be a great game, if it was not adapted into an Undercover Brothers story, would Operation: Phoenix. Just imagine walking into the arms vault under Stolkholm?
But some others would have to be The Alien Factor, The Pentagon Spy, Hollywood Horror, Thick as Thieves, Dead On Target, Dead of Night, Mystery On Makatunk Island, Revenge of the Desert Phantom, Sky Sabotage/The Skyfire Puzzle, The Vanishing Thieves and Running On Empty.

Ditto.
What about GN's 7, 10 & 15
That would be cool. Noirs would be cool. HB #2 and #10 are still my favorite picks, though.
None, they will throw ATAC into any game they make. If they are not going to add ATAC, hten one of the ones involing ghosts. (screams in horror as ATAC ruins another classic Hardy Boys book) Otherwise it will be too scary.)
Why can't they mix fighting with ND style investagateing?
I think bad chemistry should made into a game.
Unfortunately, I think realistically, the UnderCover Brothers books would be the ones tapped on for game possibilities- and of course, the original 58 books. I'm not sure if any of the various spin-off series for The Hardy Boys books would make it into games. (But that's not to say that I wouldn't love to see many of these come to fruition.) ;D

Well, realistically, with
The Hidden Theft Dreamcatcher did tap into the
Undercover Brothers by shoving ATAC into
The Tower Treasure from the Original series. And the
Undercover Brothers are a spin-off series.
But I don't see why non of the spin-off series wouldn't be tapped since the
Nancy Drew computer series has continued to tap into the spin-off series including the
Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys SuperMystery'88 series, but there again ATAC was shoved into the game, but then quickly forgotten.
Also
The Perfect Crime uses the likenesses of Tim Considine and Tommy Kirk (from the 1950's Walt Disney serials) for Frank and Joe Hardy instead of using the character models from the Nancy Drew games or
The Hidden Theft.
Several obscure Nancy Drew books have been made into games (The Broken Anchor, The Phantom Of Venice), so maybe it will be the same with the Hardy Boys.

I didn't know this. Interesting.
I had heard about Tim Considine and Tommy Kirk's likenesses used for The Hidden Theft and that's awesome! :) It's nice to see that they are considering the vastness of The Hardy Boys history. So maybe some of the Casefiles and Digests and Supermysteries and originals, etc. would be used.
Didn't know about the Nancy Drew games using the premise of one of the Supermysteries- which one is that? That's really cool to know- also about The Broken Anchor and The Phantom of Venice being made into games.

Their likenesses are in
The Perfect Crime, not
The Hidden Theft (THT used the likenesses of the voice actors).

#13
Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon used the premise of
A Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys SuperMystery: Mystery Train. And ATAC was inserted into that game as well, but for the most part the boys seemed to be their old selves from the Originals/Casefiles continuities.
I think Blood Money would make a pretty cool, maybe more action-oriented, game.

DUH! I have that game- I should have remembered the connection to "Mystery Train". ;D
I remember thinking of that when I first got the game, but I haven't explored it fully enough to know the extent of the similarities. But the basic premise does seem to be intact.
And I just looked closely at "The Perfect Crime" game box- yes, that is dead-on for Tim Considine and Tommy Kirk! That's awesome!
If any of The Hardy Boys Casefiles were to be made into a game, I think I'd like to see a couple possibilities- "Dead on Target", "Evil, Inc.", "Cult of Crime", "The Lazarus Plot", "Hostages of Hate", "Brother Against Brother" and "Too Many Traitors" and "Dead of Night". Not to mention the whole Operation: Phoenix trilogy and the Ring of Evil trilogy.
Don't if they would all work the best, but those are a few of my picks.
I'm all for a Casefile game! Brother Against Brother would be super awesome!! Just please make it easier to play! The Wii version of Hidden Theft is HARD...even with the walkthrough I found online! I am still stuck on the same part. Other than that I like it. (Sorry I wandered a little there...Spacey!)
I haven't even been able to find the Wii version of The Hidden Theft.
"Last train to blue moon canyon" is based off "Mystery train"

Yeah I had to order it off Amazon.com. I still have yet to see it in a store. :(

I tried getting it from Amazon.ca and they said that they were not able to get it.

Brother Against Brother wouldn't work because they would try to add ATAC into the mix.

Unfortunately, you are probably right. DARN! :-\
Plus, they would most likely change the plot entirely, like they did with the Tower Treasure.
Well, it's not like the game was called The Tower Treasure, so I didn't really mind the changes at all.

Well it was originally going to be called
The Tower Treasure.
Anyway I just found a copy of
The Hidden Theft for the Wii at an EB Games in Ottawa yesterday.

I liked how some elements were from the book but it is still a hard game that I have yet to beat.
I'm surprised you saw it in a store! :)

Well EB Games only had an empty box on the shelf (they keep the "new" games in the backroom as a security system) so I just asked if they had it. But even still I was going to ask since a few times in the past I've asked at EB Games about certain titles, either new or used, and sometimes the title I'm looking for won't be on the shelf but will be in the back and they can see if they have it on their computers.

Yeah, but that was very early on in production, so, I'm sure the game changed quite a bit before the name got changed.

As I recall the name was only changed about 6 months prior to the games launch. So for quite a while it was known as
The Hardy Boys: The Tower Treasure.
Yeah, but, what I'm saying is, it was probably more faithful to The Tower Treasure at first when they first named it.
