George Fayne has passed away

I just found out that George Fayne actress, Susan Buckner passed away May 2.  She played George in Season 2 of The Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries on the episodes "Nancy Drew's Love Match", "Will The Real Santa Claus..." and "Mystery On The Avalanche Express".

Her most famous role was in the 1978 Grease movie as Patty Simcox.  Her last credited appearance was in the 1981 Deadly Blessing which also co-starred Maren Jensen, who also appeared in the Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries episode "Death Surf".

Sorry to hear this. 
She didn't make a lot of appearances as George Fayne but she did a good job with what scenes she was given. I think Jean Rasey would still be the definitive George for the show but Susan Buckner made a good replacement, especially since both were sort of playing a George/Bess personality character where the characters were combined for the show. Though funnily enough- in Season 2 we had Ruth Cox appearing as Bess and Susan Buckner as George. Susan Buckner was also one of the Kroftettes, a swimming troupe on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, which aired in an alternating slot with The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries.
    Anyway, it's certainly sad to hear of her death. I pray God's comfort for her family.
