I really liked this story. I didn't remember it very well from the years ago that I read it, but was pleasantly surprised.
It has the return of MUX, but not until later in the book are we made aware of them. And they let you know that they want to go after MUX in the future as well.
Almost every single regular character is in this book. All the family, friends, and Officer Riley too.
There was a lot of other returning items as well. The Beast shows up again, Chartwell Academy is mentioned again. A reference to Kirkland Road is also mentioned in relation to the Academy. Both the Bayport Marina and Bayport Harbor make appearances too.
There were also a lot of new friends of Fenton Hardy, that were perhaps perfect for getting a chance to come back in a future book.
This story seems to have been well researched to fit within the Casefiles series.
Honestly, this story could make a great tv episode or movie.
