"Jeremy Kramer will oversee the movie for Fox, if the deals go through. Franco and Kinberg have been developing Fox's "The Hardy Men" as a potential starring vehicle for both James and Dave Franco, who would portray the grown-up versions of The Hardy Boys."
Was hoping this was cancelled. (The "Multiple Man" movie sounds terrible too)
What happened to Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise?.......... Well, this thing has been talked about for at least a good decade now- yeah, hopefully it will eventually just be cancelled for good. I can't imagine anything good will come of it.
As to the X-Men movies planned- I'm definitely interested in the Dark Phoenix movie. New Mutants might make for an interesting one-off, though I'm not super familiar with this group nor do I care that much about them. Gambit might carry a movie by himself........but I honestly don't think he's nearly that popular of a character to do so. And a rather little known to the general public character like Multiple Man headlining a movie? I really don't see that happening.....
More like 2 decades. The first news came out around 2000, 17 years ago!
I wouldn't bother watching it and I hope it gets canceled, too. I don't think Fox would do a good job or get it right.
I am guessing that if FOX does get bought up by Disney, then the Hardy Men movie might be a big target for getting scrapped.

We might find out pretty soon. Wouldn't be surprised if multiple man gets scrapped too.
Disney's looking to buy Fox too? They don't own enough already? On the positive side though, maybe then The Fantastic Four and X-Men could finally be incorporated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. :) 8)

Its a done deal (unless the regulators get in the way). This means that Disney now owns complete rights to all star wars movies, plus now the X-Men and partially the Fantastic Four (some german company actually owns those rights with Fox only having distribution rights I think), plus all the TV shows made by FOX (X-files, Simpsons, etc.), and some big name movie franchises (Avatar, Aliens, Predator, Ice Age, Planet of the Apes) and oldie but goody movies and tv shows too (The Sound of Music, M.A.S.H., Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc.)
Wow.......
One Disney to rule them all... lol :o

Hello!
Any news about the Hardy Men Movie?
No. The film is in it's development stage, which means the screenplay might not even be finished yet. The Disney-Fox deal might also cause the film to be delayed, or not happen at all. We'll have to wait a while before we get any more news.
The movie's been in development since 2000. So I wouldn't expect much.
