I think Speed Times Five is set near the Canadian border, but doesn't take place in Canada, or if it does, its for a page or two, then it is back to the U.S.

I'm not sure about this becouse I have never read the The Twisted Claw, but I was on a wabsite called: 'The Hardy Boys Unofficial Online Resource' and they said that in the Revised, 1969 version of The Twisted Claw the Hardys went to Montreal, Stormwell and Port Manthon, Canada; Tambio and Cambrian Islands in the Caribbean; and Miami.

Here's a Link to the site.

In the original text, the Hardy's also went to Saint John, New Brunswick, although the text erronously calls the city St. John's, New Brunswick.  But I have to agree with the maker of that web page.  A lot of visitors, and even residents of Canada, tend to make that same mistake because the two cities have near identical names when you say them (the only difference is the "s" sound on the end of St. John's).
