Bigfootman

Worst
3. Shock Jock- May be sucky, but had a decent gang
2. Deadman In Deadwood- Almost no action, but still had a murder
1. Mission: Myhem- Altough labeled as a casefile, you couldn't tell just by reading the book. There's not even a Murder!

Top 30 Best
30. Double Expoure-Good but kinda went downhill after a couple of chapters
29. Blood Relations-Not sure why, just wasn't the best, still good.
28. Flesh And Blood-Altough Chet IS fingered as a supect, it's only for one chapter. Liked the ending however.
27. Final Cut- Fun to read, but I already knew who the bad guy was.
26. Wittness to Murder- Not the best not the worst.
25. Nightmare In Angel City- Good fight scences, but seems a little rushed.
24. The Last Laugh-A bit too much like a digest, but good action.
23. Cult Of Crime- Decent book, but for an earlier casefile, not very good
22. Stratectic Moves- Book 1 in what I call the Brittish deo (sp). Good network book, but the action didn't get going until later on.
21. Castle Fear-Book 2 in what I call the Brittish deo (sp). A bit better then Stratectic Moves.
20. Collison Course- Good car themed Casefile.
19. Diplomatic Deciet- The second casefile I had ever read. Good chase sences.
18. Too Many Traitors- Good action but very confusing
17. Bad Rap- Lots of action. Important to me, because it was my first ever casefile that I got for my collection.
16. Line Of Fire-A fast paced book, witch kept me turning pages.
15. Brother Agenst Brother- Good, but ending sucked.
14. Bad Chemistry- One of the best of the later books.
13. Training For Trouble- Although it's a digest, it has a ton of violance, making me wonder if Criss-Cross crime is the only one of it's kind.
12. Dead In The Water- Last OFFICAL book in the casefile series, but not the best way to end something so awsome.
11. Deathgame-Amazing book
10. Criss Cross Crime (Hey, it was going to be a casefile!)- Good, but a bit repetive, and the bank robbers reming me of Wrong Side Of The Law. (Altough I have neaver read Wrong Side Of The Law)
9. Countdown To Terror- Love where it takes place but gave away details of Trouble In The Pipeline
8. Evil. Inc- Good book, also one of the darkest ones.
7. Edge Of Distruction- A real page turner!
6. Dead On Target- First OFFICAL Casefile, good, but seemed random.
5. Danger Zone- If you see this book in a store, buy it immmedly, it's hard to find, but one of the best.
4. Revenge Of The Desert Phantom- The REAL first casefile, lots of action, but the action dosen't come until the 3rd chapter
3. Absoulute Zero- Love the globe traviling, and appercences by PENGUINS!  Also some of the best bad guys in a casefile.
2. Hostiges Of Hate- Love this book!
1. The Borderline Case- First book I ever read. Also the book with the most action, best bad guys, and best netwok story!

I think there is even a Digest that uses the Casefiles Title, or it might even be a Casefile that uses Too Many Traitors as part of the description of the story.

And I won't pollute this thread by mentioning HB:UB and their original ideas ;) :D

"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.
"Thank you, Joe."
"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

Note to Self: Read BaB so I get the deciding vote. ;)

Did not!
It did!  Joe just got his memeory back, and they just got on plane and Frank made a lame joke. The end. Come on! That is the dumbest casefile ending ever!

I agree, the book needed more pages, and Joe's recovery was not dealt with well at all!

Sorry for double post, but this sums up my thoughts on the book.

Opps number error on my list, to be fixed soon.

I had to look away really quick because my Spidey-Spoiler-Sences where tingling. Can someone tell me if DD's post (1st of the 2) was a big spoiler?

Olivia

It does have a spoiler, Robin.

Wait, Spidey-Sense? I thought you were Robin? ;)

Q

1 Too Many Traitors
The author totally had me fooled. And I love it when the good guys outsmart the villians.
2 The Borderline Case

3 Perfect Getaway

4 Countdown to Terror

5 Evil Inc

6 Nowhere to Run

7 Highway Robbery

8 The Crowning Terror

9 The Lazarus Plot

10 Brother Against Brother

11 Dead on Target

12 Hostages of Hate

13 Strategic Moves

14 Edge of Destruction

15 The Last Laugh

16 Blood Money

17 A Taste for Terror

18 Scene of the Crime

19 Flight into Danger

20 The Number File

21 Diplomatic Deceit

22 Running on Empty

23 Line of Fire

24 The Pacific Conspiracy

25 Deathgame

26 Flash and Blood

27 Winner Takes All

28 The Deadliest Dare

29 Screamers

30 Castle Fear

31 Cult of Crime
First time I read this book, I didn't know my geography and thought the cult was in the Alpines. :-[ I hate it when they introduce an "old" friend who never shows up in any of the other books.
32 In Self-Defense

33 Power Play

34 No Way Out

35 The Borgia Dagger

36 The Dead Season
There was no real explantion about how the faceless "ghost" appeared invisible
37 Shock Jock
Only good thing was the Bootstompers
38 Disaster for Hire
I found this one really boring for some reason.
39 Collision Course
I figure out the bad guy in Chapter 1 and spent the rest of the book yawning as the Hardys stumbled along.

I generally like books where I didn't guess the bad guy(s) before he or she or they are revealed and dislike books where I guess the bad guy(s) in the beginning.
Give me time and I will in all the reasons for the positions.

MacGyver

Too Many Traitors is one of my all time favorites too- I've read and reread it a couple of times. :)

I do recall one hilarious line from "Disaster for Hire". Somewhere in the book, Joe reads a sign at a place that says "Courtesy is Contagious" and he comments, "Looks like they stamped that out here." ;D I always thought that was funny. That is one thing I've always enjoyed about the Casefiles- though it wasn't often and it shouldn't be too often- there were a few comedic moments and lines that made me laugh out loud. That's always welcome every now and then in the middle of an intense action and adventure and mystery story. 8)
"I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by Me."- Jesus
"You can do anything you want to do if you put your mind to it."- MacGyver in "Cease Fire"

JoeHardyRocks

Well now I've read like 15 Casefiles so I have a top 7 :)

(Not neccesarily in this order)

Deathgame
The Lazarus Plot
Brother Against Brother
Dead on Target
Frame-Up
Evil Inc
The Number File

When I get my new ones I might edit that list :)

"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.

"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

Cool. Those are good ones.
