Title: Looking back at The Hardy Boys
Post by: MacGyver on November 11, 2014, 02:23:44 PM
I found an interesting blog post  (http://www.sleuthsayers.org/2013/08/the-hardy-boys-mystery_27.html) about a child Hardy Boys fan looking back at the books as an adult and noting how his view of the books changed over the years- interesting read. [Love the name of the blog too- Sleuthsayers :D] (Though I can admit The Hardy Boys books aren't the greatest literature in the world, I still say they are good literature and I LOVE reading them at any age.) :) 8)

I like reading them for easy reading pleasure, but no where near what I read in high school. There are too many "adult books" I want to read. Ocassionally I'll make my way back to the casefiles, but I still have warm feelings for the boys.
