Interesting how they say that the Casefiles have 10.7 million "copies in print", considering the Casefiles have been discontinued for a while.
VHS, S-VHS, Super Betamax, Mini DV, MicroMV, Betacam SP, U-Matic SP - NTSC/PAL/SECAM.  All transferred to DVD!

Prehaps when the series got cancilled they still had books left, that's why some turned up in doller stores, or prehaps they are counting the ones that they sold before the casefiles series was cancilled. It's strange.

Calling it a "Consistently a bestselling hit" is strange, too. Good marketing, I guess...

This title was still in print here in the UK until recently, as an Undercover Brothers hybrid edition:

My sister got this on her Kindle like 3 weeks ago, so yeah it is.... :-\
"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.
"Thank you, Joe."
"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

Bigfootman

Why haven't they released anymore Casefiles in e-book form?

The only reason my sis found it was because she made me look them up for her, we didn't even know they had Casefiles e-books before then.

I only found it because I was on the S$S website, and saw it, almost TWO YEARS after it was released.

I have this one in eBook. They also have available most all of the blue hardcovers, quite a few Digests (and I look forward to more! ;D) and Undercover Brothers.
Joe Hardy said "Iola is alive, I can feel it. I couldn't feel this strongly about someone who was dead."

"Then I won't tell you to give up hope," Frank said softly. 8)

They do have bluespines available in e-book format, but they are the revised editions, not the original ones. I do have a theory as to why more Casefiles aren't being released in e-book format. In quite a few of the Casefiles, Frank and Joe encounter terrorists. Considering what's been going on recently in the Middle East, S$S probably didn't want any controversy. Moral Guardians tend to get angry easily, and will start protesting against anything they don't feel is appropriate for kids.

S$S  is releasing 2 new Hardy Boys ebooks and 5 new Nancy Drew ebooks in September.

No, I don't think that's the reason.  It's more likely that Simon & Schuster doesn't see the chance for any more profit in the series and thinks that it is too old to reissue, and Darkness Falls was only a test book to see if there was the chance for profit.
