I'm starting to think that the first book someones reads has a huge effect on their favorite book. Since the first Hardy Boys book I read was Passport To Danger, (SM not the digest) altough I wouldn't finnish it for another year, that my be why I collect both series and like the casefiles. The first book I finnished was Crime In Kennal.

I've tried reading them in order, but it's hard to do when no one's getting you the books in order!

I actually read ND HB crossovers first because I was really into Nancy Drew, but then I switched over to UBs. :D
"Hey! Don't do that here. You'll mess up my bedspread."
Rolling his eyes, Joe sat on the window sill and started sawing.
"Thank you, Joe."
"You're welcome, Martha Stewart."

I read the Nancy Drew Mystery stories (the ones from the late 90's, not the Files) first, then a couple of the '88 ND/HB Super Mysteries.

But I think it has a lot to do with age and what you've read first (in general). Just a guess.

I read The Tower Treasure (1959) first since my mom wanted me to get into reading rather than having my brain rot by playing Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Super Mario Brothers 3, Deja Vu and Mega Man 3 on the Nintendo Entertainment System.
VHS, S-VHS, Super Betamax, Mini DV, MicroMV, Betacam SP, U-Matic SP - NTSC/PAL/SECAM.  All transferred to DVD!

If Christ had been a philosopher, they could have debated Him.Had He been a religionist, they could have ignored Him.But Christ was love. What do you do with that?

The first ones I've read were both ND/HB 07 Supermysterys.

Jokerette

it was a bluespine.i can't remember which. :D
I know that all you need is love, but I believe an Xbox Kinnect is pretty essential too, am I right?
