I posted an image of a possible Hardy car in "The hardy Boys Trivia Game" thread and that got me thinking about other vehicles that appear in the series. It rarely specifies what make or model cars are in the books, so I thought I'd start a thread where you can post images of what you think they look.

I'll start it off with a selection of vehicles which fit into the world of the Casefiles.

The Hardys car that got blown up by the Assassins, killing Iola, could have been something like a 1968 Plymouth Fury.

The black van the Hardys got from the Bayport mall, could be a 1987 Chevy.

The Honda CB750 might be something like the motorcycles Frank and Joe rode in the Casefiles...I don't think it actually ever says the Hardys had/have motorcycles in the Casefiles, but what the heck!

This is a little talked about part of the Hardy World, so it should be interesting.

Well, in the Original series, in the 1928 text of The Shore Road Mystery, the boys buy a car that is described as looking like a "millionaires" car, that originally cost about $3,000, but doesn't have the greatest engine in the world.  It's also a higher class of car than a flivver, and with a new paint job it looks like a Rolls-Royce.
VHS, S-VHS, Super Betamax, Mini DV, MicroMV, Betacam SP, U-Matic SP - NTSC/PAL/SECAM.  All transferred to DVD!

Anyways, so would that Rolls-Royce be a convertible?

NZone

Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.

They have bikes in the UB? I remember motorbikes but not bikes like that.

Olivia

I know, sorry. I meant it to be a joke. But if I pointed out it was not to be taken seriously, then it wouldn't have been as funny...

Definitely ATAC issued. They'll blend in everywhere, that's for sure. And get around real fast.
